  • Federal Funds to Assist with Back Rent: www.RentHelpMN.org

    Financial Assistance available to those who qualify

    Back rent and/or utilities can be paid as far back as March 2020.

    Renters and Landlords can work together to get paperwork submitted through an online portal.

  • Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) was created to provide eligible households with discounted broadband service. Assurance Wireless offers a FREE cell phone and FREE cell phone service, including free Unlimited Monthly Data, Text and Minutes, to qualified customers.

    They help households stay connected to jobs, critical healthcare and more.

  • The Transit Assistance Program (TAP) is designed to make public transit more affordable for people with lower incomes. TAP provides a year-long reduced fare pass on a Go-To Card. It allows customers to use a bus or train for just $1 per ride – even during rush hour – with a 2½ hour transfer.

  • The Vinland National Center provides behavioral health services to individuals with cognitive impairments. They provide treatment for addiction, while caring for mental health.

  • Hope 4 Youth a drop-in center for youth experiencing homelessness (16-24 years old), open Monday through Thursday, 11 am-7 pm and Fridays, 11 am-5 pm.

    Every youth that both calls and stays here should be told about H4Y’s services. They have laundry machines, computers, showers, a clothing closet, lockers, resources such as food and hygiene as well as Case Management services.
